Sport: Kundalini meditation
At University Sports since:
winter semester 19/20
What fascinates me about my sport is...
.... that the Kundalini Yoga exercises (Kriyas) are at once dynamic and meditative, invigorating and relaxing, healing and invigorating. In their combination of postures and movement sequences, inner concentration points and breath guidance, as well as the use of mantras (meditation words), mudras (hand postures) and bhandas (inner energy guidance), they offer a huge variety of possibilities to work on individual challenges.
It does not require any special skills or prerequisites and is basically suitable for all people regardless of age, gender and flexibility. It is particularly suitable for counteracting stress symptoms. Kundalini Yoga strengthens the body and the resistance, the ability to concentrate and the endurance increase, the mood is lifted and the nervous system is strengthened. Kundalini Yoga and meditation cause the body's glands to function better, thus balancing a person's mental and emotional state and enabling him/her to face life's daily challenges more calmly and positively.
What fascinates me about University Sports is...
... the many affordable and professional leisure activities.
When I'm not practicing my sport...
... I spend my time with my family.
My motto is:
To approach life with respect, love and gratitude.
