Sport: Volleyball

At University Sports since:
summer semester 18

What fascinates me about my sport is...

... the challenges of team play to triumph over another team.
... the focus on technique and tactics with less emphasis on conditioning
... the diverse strengths that different people bring to the table and that are required for different positions and situations
... that it is a ball sport and means competition (as opposed to individual sport)
... the feeling of winning a close game / when a "comeback" succeeds / rallies are fiercely contested

What fascinates me about University Sports is...

... the contact with other students from a wide variety of backgrounds coming together for a shared sporting hobby.
... the socialisation opportunities beyond university sports
... the opportunity to have easy access to sporting activities for students

When I'm not practicing my sport...

... I sit on my ergometer bike
... I meet up with friends
... I consume a wide variety of media (music, video games, videos, broadcast sporting events, films, books).
... I enjoy a rare skiing day
