At University Sports since:
What fascinates me about my sport is...
... how beautiful something as simple as throwing a ball through a ring can be. The combination between precision motor skills, speed, strength and athleticism. Big or small, strong or agile, everyone has their place on the court. Even a sense of rhythm, like dancing with the ball, is needed. All in all, basketball is a very versatile, but also a challenging team sport that, once it has infected you, won't let you go. Ball is life.
What fascinates me about University Sports is...
... that so many different people and cultures can communicate and find each other through something as simple as sports. It is an incredibly good interruption from studying and university life and helps a lot to clear the head. And it's a cheap way to do your favorite sport outside of clubs, or to try something new.
When I'm not practicing my sport...
... I study sustainable development, dance and sing very much, but not so well. I also like to read a lot. Otherwise I like to spend time with friends and in nature and try to make the world a little nicer.
My motto is:
If nothing goes right, go ball!
