Sport: Golf

At University Sports since:
winter semester 15/16

What fascinates me about my sport is...

...I have been playing golf passionately since 1987 and, after two years of training, passed my exam to become a Diplom Golf Teaching Professional in 2010. I acquired my skills at the sports science faculty of the TU Munich as well as the University of Paderborn-Golfakademie, among others. Further training locations were various golf clubs such as Bad Griesbach, GC Ebersberg and GC Burg Konradsheim. In addition to my training as a DGTP, I have acquired qualifications as a golf physio trainer and golf physio pro in golf. Furthermore I am a Carving Golf representative for the Ruhr area. In addition to the classic golf training, I guide people with health restrictions (intervertebral discs, artificial joints, etc.) to the sport of golf, or back again after longer breaks, from a medical point of view. Another focus is the work with stroke patients, who regain quality of life for their favorite sport golf with targeted training methodology.

What fascinates me about University Sports is...

...to get an insight into various sports and then to get to know and learn them under the aspect of affordable costs.

When I'm not practicing my sport...

...I spend my free time with various activities. Going to the theater, visiting art exhibitions, watching soccer, reading, etc.

My motto is:

...To make the sport of golf fun for people of all ages.
